CBDC Status Monitoring Tool

Clicking the link (below) will open a very useful online resource in a new tab.

The arrangement is self-explanatory. The best way to exploit this tracker is to simply set (or clear) the colour-coded check-boxes displayed near the top of the cbdctracker website. Then scroll down a little to read the tabulated data results.

CBDCs Come In Two Basic Forms

^— Table of Contents —^

The two most important “user critical” forms of CBDC are Wholesale and Retail.

CBDCs Are Not Currencies

^— Table of Contents —^

It is critically important to keep in mind that no CBDC — irrespective of their respective creators / owners — shall represent a new currency.

In the real world — meaning outside of the feminized “United States of Make-Believe” — only Gold bullion, Silver bullion, and (now) Bitcoin can be rightly described as money … a concept that can only be properly defined in fundamental terms. Money’s definition (as opposed to “currency”) uses a similar syntax to that used to describe natural law and scientific principles. In other words, there is absolutely no room or tolerance here for any Talmudic spin, deviancy, or perversity.

CBDCs represent a new, and exclusively digital payment system(s) offering several functional similarities to PayPal or our existing Credit Cards, but with the addition of full governmental approval and supervision (via the auspices of the Central Bank).

Doubtless the naive, careless, and foolish early adopters of CBDCs will initially feel liberated, and “part of that vanguard assumed to be building a brave new world”. For a while, they will excitedly revel in the transactional meta-universe of e-dollars, e-euros, e-yen, etc., etc. Unable to see beyond the joy of convenience, they will be suckers for what will inevitably follow … given time.

Under present circumstances — and with COVID Lockdowns still fresh in our memories — it is surely better to be skeptical and also suspicious of any and all Central Banker motives.

CBDCs Will Need To Mandate Your (My) Acceptance Of A Digital ID

^— Table of Contents —^

CBDCs and Digital IDs have a symbiotic relationship. Our co-called Finance & Banking ‘elites’ are going to have to enforce a widespread if not universal acceptance of an officially approved [government owned] Digital ID, otherwise they will witness a blanket refusal of their CBDC plans.

For example, those refusing to adopt full usage of a digital ID could so easily be barred from International travel, or refused entry to any number of official or semi-official institutions, such as bank branches, dental clinics, car hire contracts, etc., etc.

Some Clarity About China’s Social Credit Score Systems

^— Table of Contents —^

All those who have attempted to learn Mandarin Chinese will know full well it is a complex language. Ditto for all the other Chinese dialects (of which there are 8 primary spoken dialects). Added to which, we need to be cognizant of the vagaries of official documentation typically produced by authoritarian, Communist regimes. Especially the one that has been presided over by the current incumbent since 2012: Xi Jinping.

Therefore a great deal of exaggerated hype (so far unchallenged at that) has been generated by documentaries produced (since about 2018) by Australian and American broadcasters who set out to vilify and “George Orwell” the social monitoring systems that have been rolled out by various Chinese authories (both local and national) since 2014.

This first video does a very fine job of cutting out the crap, while presenting a more nuanced and therefore balanced explanation of China’s current batch of Social Credit Score systems; including especially, the primary reasons and justifications for their existence.

YouTube Viewer Comment: The take away from this video isn’t about the social credit system; it is how skeptical we should be of how government and company are portrayed by news media and by official statement.

This second video is more (traditionally) cynical, but still qualifies as being well-informed and mostly balanced. It’s creator maintains contact with persons living inside mainland China.

The viewpoints of the famous American Vlogger known as  laowhy86   … who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese having lived in China for ten years, and married to a very attractive mainland Chinese lady.
